Year 11 Exam preparation over the long weekend

An odd sight for a Saturday night in the Boarding House - no footy, no movies, no social to attend. However, many Year 11 Boarders did take the opportunity of becoming more acquainted with their textbooks over the ANZAC long weekend, in preparation for their fortcoming exams. Plenty of 'brain food' was provided - ranging from chocolate bars to muffins and fruit - as a way of making the sobering experience that little bit more palatable. In addition to a Study Skills seminar that was well attended on Saturday afternoon, extra tutors were rostered on over the weekend to ensure that the boys maintained their focus, and so that expert advice was on hand as soon as any stumbling blocks were reached. Let's just hope it pays off!
