Keys House Structure

All boarders belong to the House group, Keys House. This creates a sense of community and belonging for the boys. Within their House group, boys participate in tutor groups, Inter-house sports and activities together.

Years 8 and 9

Years 8 and 9 boys are each housed in separate houses, reflecting our commitment to growth and development of young adolescent boys. Each house has a Head of Year (normally an academic staff member) who lives in-house, a Housemother, an academic tutor and four resident tutors who live either in-house or on campus.

Years 10 to 12

These boys are house in one complex overlooking the Scotch playing fields. This facility was opened in 2003 and houses 105 boys in either single or double accommodation.

Year 12 students have their own rooms while students in Years 10 and 11 share double rooms. The Head of Boarding, Assistant Head of Boarding and their families live within the complex, as do six resident masters. A Housemother and two academic staff members are also on staff.

All houses have recreation rooms, tutorial areas with computer and internet access, and overlook the magnificent school playing fields.
