CANTEEN

The Senior Canteen is situated underneath the Music/Drama Department adjacent to the swimming pool, and provides snacks at Recess for all boys and lunches for Senior School Day Boys.
Variously filled fresh bread rolls, sandwiches and pitta bread, tubs of freshly made salads and fresh fruit are included on the menu.

In winter, added to the menu is a selection of hot foods including pasta dishes, curries, chicken 'subs', pasties, sausage rolls and a variety of pies.

Parents staff the canteen voluntarily on a roster system and work with a paid manager and an assistant. Boys order their lunch at the beginning of the school day then collect and pay at lunchtime. Should a boy leave his lunch/money at home, he can make an arrangement with the manager to order lunch, returning money owed the following day.

The Senior Canteen also stocks a basic supply of stationery items including calculators which are available for purchase.

The Canteen Committee under the chairmanship of the Deputy Headmaster maintains a price structure enabling any profits made, to be used for the purchase of equipment for the School. The Committee meets on a quarterly basis to discuss Canteen policy.
