CHAPEL
All boys are expected to attend the Chapel Services and Assemblies, even though they may not be Christians. It is felt that it is worthwhile for boys of other religions to attend Chapel with the rest of the School. Parents may wish to discuss with the Headmaster or Chaplain particular problems concerning religious observance.
The School Chapel Services will generally reflect the attitudes of the Uniting Church of Australia. In Senior School each boy attends a Chapel Service once a week with his House. In addition, boarders have a programme of Chapel Services on Sunday evenings.
The Chaplain is responsible for overseeing and developing Religious Education in the School and he may be consulted by parents and boys regarding such matters. The Chaplain is also available to discuss with boys or parents and staff members and their families, any matter of a personal or family nature that may arise. The Chaplain may be consulted by House Heads where necessary in regard to their care and oversight of boys.
In addition to Religious Education, Counselling and Chapel, the Chaplain is a teacher and is involved in the sports and co-curricular programme as well as other aspects of School life.
