DRESS REGULATIONS
School uniform is to be worn by all day boys at School and when travelling to or from School. There are some special regulations for boarders. New and second hand uniforms requirements, except footwear, can be obtained from the Uniform Shop.
It is important that boys are taught to dress properly. The points which most frequently are neglected are that when ties are worn the collar button must be done up; that shirts need to be tucked in properly and shorts must be worn up around the waist. All clothing must be marked with the boy's name. Name tapes may be ordered through the Uniform Shop.
Jewellery, such as rings or bracelets, may not be worn unless the Headmaster has given specific permission. Summer uniform must be worn in first term and in fourth term from the last day of Year 12 classes until the end of term. Winter uniform must be worn in second term and third term. Either winter or summer uniform may be worn in fourth term until the last day of Year 12 classes. Boys who have earned Colours, Honours or Academic tie may wear this instead of a House tie on Fridays. All boys will need to possess both a School tie and a House tie.
Occasionally the School will have a Casual Clothes Day where boys will be permitted to wear casual clothing. This is usually run as a fund-raising exercise. On these days, clothing must be clean and neat without offensive wording, with the rules on jewellery remaining unchanged.
