Report
We now are in Cape Town with only two games to go. So far we have had a wonderful trip and the boys have played 7, won 5 and lost 2 , both 2 - 3. The boys are now tired and we have had two injuries of note, an ankle (Ben Zuidersma) and a hamstring (Patrick Mellor).
We have enjoyed the PLC connection very much and a lot of friendships have been made. The girls have won 5 games also and are a very strong and committed team. We are now at the Breakwater Lodge in Cape Twon, and tomorrow are off to see penguins, seals and the Cape of Good Hope.
Outstanding players have been James Nyman, Jared Rhodes and the two Year 10s have been excellent, Russell Mathwin and Alex Boston. We had a lot of fun billetted in Somerset West and apart from a few colds (and sore throats) we are in good spirits and looking forward to an extra lie in tomorrow before we head out. Some of the group are going to a Super 14 match on Saturday night and we have a big final dinner planned in an African restaurant with music and dancing.
We haven't had the opportunity to send photos but have seen some stunning views over and from Table Mountain. See you back in Perth on Wednesday morning.
