Library at Scotch

With the ever-increasing number of avenues for locating information, the role of the library in a 21st Century College is paramount. Scotch has two separate libraries located on our campus that provide our boys with access to the latest resources to ensure they achieve their best in all they do. As a hub for academic activities, our two libraries boast the latest resources and are staffed by qualified Teacher Librarians that work to ensure that the boys can always get help for whatever task they are completing.

The Senior Library, located in the Bunning Resource Centre, boasts a collection in excess of 16000 print books with a wide range of electronic databases and eBooks. This library looks after the needs of all boys from Years 9 to 12 and has qualified teachers and teacher librarians on staff to assist the boys 'on demand' and within their subjects. The Senior Library also has expertise on staff to help with any new multimedia resources as well as operating all digital signage for celebrating student work.

The Senior Library home page can be accessed via this link.

The Junior Middle Library is located in the Middle School and was completed in 2014. This Library has collections for both our younger primary readers, Years 1 to 5, then continues with content for the Middle School boys from Years 6 to 9. Each has a designated Teacher Librarian and support staff to assist boys with all their learning.

The Middle Library home page contains day to day information for the public and can be accessed here.
