The Parents' Association of Scotch College is a support group which involves all of the parents from the Junior and Senior Schools at Scotch College.
Our principle aims are:
-
To encourage and facilitate good relations between the parents of boys at the school
-
To develop close liaison between parentsand schoolstaff
-
To promote and support the activities of the school which contribute to our sons' overall education and enjoyment of their lives at Scotch
The Association does this by:
- Funding projects of the School
-
Organising functions and activities
-
Providing support to the Scotch community and the School by:
- Drawing one family per term to win a term's fees, paid for by the Association, providing they are Association members and have paid their fees on time
- Committee members attending three meetings per year with Parents' Association and Mothers' Auxiliary members from five other schools in the area (The '6x6' Group)
The Association's funding is derived from:
-
$25 per term per family for membership, paid through the term fees invoice, and
-
Sale of the Scotch College Calendar
