Junior School Inter-House Swimming Carnival 2021

On Wednesday 17 February, the Junior School boys in Years 3, 4 and 5 competed in the annual Inter-House Swimming Carnival, held at the HBF Stadium outdoor pool.

In a lovely morning of friendly, but competitive, swimming the boys swam in a range of strokes, displaying their ability in the water whilst competing for their house. All students got to swim three individual events and also competed in a relay for their House.

There were fantastic swims across the board. I'd like to make special mention to all of the new students who were competing for their House for the first time, and to Jack Keys in Year 5 who won three individual races and came second in the other. Congratulations to all the boys who swam in the carnival and contributed to their House points.

Gordon House was crowned the champion house this year, beating James House who came second and David House who came third.

We look forward to seeing all the boys and the whole Junior School competing for the next Inter-House trophy, the Cross Country, which takes place in Autumn Term.
