Welcome to Scotch College
We are an independent school for boys, situated on 22 hectares of magnificent grounds in the highly sought after Western Suburbs of Perth.
Why Scotch?
Academic success, while an integral part of our school, only scratches the surface of what makes us a truly great school. There are numerous elements which must come together to make a successful school, some which are unique to Scotch.
Preparing boys for life
Through many years of proven success, we know that by living out our core values of integrity, stewardship, and service, coupled with focusing on educational success, pastoral care, and by providing a breadth of out-of-class opportunities, your son will graduate as a balanced young man ready to take on whatever the future may hold.
A community for life
Our community is the heartbeat of the College, bringing life and energy to everything we do. When a student begins his education at Scotch, he embarks on a lifelong journey and enters a community for life. Since our founding in 1897, we have welcomed over 16,000 graduates into our vibrant and supportive alumni community known as the Old Scotch Collegians (OSC) .
With over 16,000 alumni currently living and working in Australia and across the globe, on graduating, our students enter an incredible, supportive network for life. The OSC continues to shape and support the personal and professional lives of our boys while at school and for many years after finishing Year 12.
Educational leadership
Scotch has been at the forefront of education in Western Australia and Australia since its foundation in 1897.
Academically and pastorally, the College is renowned as one of Australia’s leading independent schools for boys and has a reputation for instilling a global outlook in our students. This is achieved through our international status as an International Baccalaureate school and member of the Round Square group of schools.
