Junior School tours
Early Years tour – Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2
The Early Years is when children are in their peak developmental and learning phase. This is where good quality teaching can have the most significant impact on a child’s cognitive, social and emotional development.
Led by Mrs Maria Hodges, the Head of Junior School, this tour is designed for families considering entry into Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2, this tour allows you to visit the classrooms, meet our staff and gain insight into our tailored teaching and learning of the curriculum, specialist subject opportunities and co-curricular experiences available to our youngest students.
Junior School tour – Pre-Primary to Year 5
Junior School sees the further development of the foundations of learning– it is a time of discovery, growing independence and confidence building.
During this tour, families will hear from Mrs Maria Hodges, the Head of Junior School and learn how our teachers support the academic and pastoral needs of each student. The tour will allow you to observe the teaching in action when visiting the classrooms as well as gain insight into the specialist learning opportunities and the many co-curricular experiences available to Junior School students.
Discovery Mornings: While you explore our campus and engage with our staff, your son will have the opportunity to discover a morning in a Scotch classroom.
Please note: the Discovery offering is for children currently in Pre-Primary to Year 3 (2027 entry).
If your son is outside this intake range, please make contact as we can organise another opportunity.

Middle School tours
Middle School (Years 6 – Year 8) is an important period of transition, as boys develop greater independence and responsibility for their learning. Our distinctive Middle School program supports this stage through innovative teaching, strong pastoral care and a highly engaging learning environment.
During the tour, families will explore Middle School facilities and learn how students are encouraged and challenged academically, socially and personally.
Small‑group tours are held on Wednesday mornings from 8:45am. Bookings are essential through Admissions, please get in touch to book your spot.
Senior School tours
Senior School Tours are offered subject to availability within required entry year.
Senior School (Years 9 – Year 12) is a time when students deepen their learning, explore individual interests and prepare for life beyond school within a supportive community.
This tour will experience our Senior School learning environment and learn about academic pathways in Years 11 and 12, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, WACE and VET.
Scotch College uniquely offers three pathways for Year 11 and 12, allowing us to accommodate a slight increase in Year 11 entry.
Please contact our Admissions team if this is of interest to your family. Please note, this academic year starts in the October prior to a typical academic year.
