A community for life
The Old Scotch Collegians was founded in 1904, with the vision of a ‘community for life’.
The mission of our OSC Committee is to keep Old Scotch Collegians connected to each other and the College in addition to supporting the College as a united body through service, stewardship and giving.
During March Out, the graduating class are officially welcomed and recognised as Old Scotch Collegians. This event is a highlight on the OSC and College’s calendar where both the current Scotch Community, local community and Old Boys gather to celebrate the graduating class.

Supporting our Old Boys
The Old Scotch Collegians hold a variety of events each year, including reunions, joint functions with the PLC Old Collegians Association and sporting and industry events. These provide a way for OSC to reconnect with their peers, strengthen the bonds formed while at school, and connect with others in their industry.
The OSC is actively working to enhance the benefits and services for members, and the range and importance of these opportunities is growing annually. Some opportunities include:
- Maintaining social contact between Old Scotch Collegians globally (i.e. Reunions, Global Chapter events)
- Maintaining social contact with Alumni from PLC Perth and other PSA schools (i.e. Networking, Sporting events)
- Supporting the wellbeing of OSCs and their families through our Members Assistance Programme
- Networking and mentorship opportunities to support graduates
- Supporting and connecting members of the Scotch community through the Scotch Business Directory.
Supporting our College
Stemming from the OSC’s values of loyalty, honesty, integrity, respect and belonging, the Old Scotch Collegians contributes significantly to the life of the College. From supporting our students through study programmes, to mentoring and financial support our Old Boys are proud to support the College.
Examples of support initiatives include:
- Academic mentoring
- Employment and vocational mentoring
- Providing resources and expertise to the College
- Providing scholarships and bursaries to support student enrolments
- Contributing to capital works and infrastructure of the school.
