Boarding Orientation Programme

Our Welcome to Scotch College (WTSC) programme supports our incoming boarders and their families, as students transition into Years 7 and 8, make friends and settle into the College.

We know that starting at a new school can be equal parts exciting and intimidating, and for our boarders this feeling is amplified. Our orientation programmes are designed to give our students a head start to boarding. Each student will be partnered with a buddy throughout orientation, to ensure they have a great experience and can start getting excited about their approaching years at Scotch College.

The October programme is part of our Spring Term orientation that begins with each new boarding student receiving their laptop. Using their laptop, they participate in a six-week online transition course. They also engage with the Head of Middle School during this online course, which is invaluable for when they start in the new year.

WTSC is an essential part of our boarding orientation offering, and we look forward to your son joining our community.
