Support groups

At Scotch College we foster the vital partnership between home and school.

A number of support groups operate within the school community, they include:

  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Cross Country
  • Football (SOFAS)
  • Hockey
  • Music (FOSM)
  • Scotch Parents
  • Performing Arts at Scotch (FOPAS)
  • Pipe Band (PBPSG)
  • Rowing
  • Rugby
  • Sailing
  • Soccer
  • Swimming
  • Water Polo

The aim of all support groups is to further the educational endeavours of the school.

The support groups' function is to:

  • Benefit the boys
  • Support staff
  • Develop collegiality
  • Provide financial support as needed 

Support groups meet on a regular basis throughout the year to share information, discuss common issues and keep abreast of changes within the school. These meetings are chaired by the Director of Advancement and Philanthropy.


All our support group members can use our parent support group website, accessible by a username and password.
