Giving at Scotch
Foundation
Established in 1985, the Scotch College (WA) Foundation Inc was created to ensure the College's ongoing financial viability.
The key goal is to maintain a healthy reserve of funds and secure resources not otherwise available to the College via government grants or annual school fees.
The Foundation is responsible for the management and investment strategy of all funds collected by the College. Its role also includes recurrent financial support during challenging times and assistance for the College to maintain and grow its capital infrastructure.
Since its inception, the Foundation has built a substantial asset base, generated from endowment fees, generous bequests and sound investment practices. The Foundation is overseen by a Board of Trustees and has a specialised Investment Committee which reports to the Board.
Building our future
Through a planned strategy of investment, the Foundation has contributed significant funds toward past, current and future building programmes, including the:
- Dickinson Centre
- Science and Design/Technology building
- Middle School buildings and underpass
The Board of Trustees has also funded an innovative staff professional development project and a staff leadership programme with the income from significant bequests.
Join our Foundation
We welcome donations of any size. For those donating $5,000 or more in cash or assets within a five-year period, or bequests of $20,000 or more, we extend our appreciation through providing a membership to our Foundation.
