Little Pipers Playgroup

For Boys and Girls 0-4 years

Little Pipers Playgroup is a free programme to develop our youngest community members' love of learning. Sessions are designed to be fun and sociable for all ages, and there's no need to book.

All activities are designed by our early learning specialists and give you an insight into the inquiry method of teaching and learning used at Scotch College.

On Mondays we offer two age appropriate Loving Literacy sessions: Baby Rhyme Time for 0-2 year olds and Toddler Tales for 2-4 year olds. As a member of our Little Pipers Community, you are welcome to borrow books from our Junior Library.

On Thursdays we stimulate your little one's sense of wonder with Inquiring Minds: fun and dynamic activities based around Art, Physical Education, Music and French.

Session Times:
Monday 9am - 9.45am (Loving Literacy in the Junior Library)
Thursday 10am - 11am (Inquiring Minds in the Early Learning Centre)

For both sessions please meet at our Early Learning Centre Carpark on Stirling Road, Swanbourne.

Little Pipers Pre-Kindy

Transition to Kindy in little steps – 3-year-old Pre-Kindy for Boys and Girls

Little Pipers Pre-Kindy lays the foundation for a love of learning. Commencing in 2018, this new Pre-Kindy Programme is designed to nurture your child's natural curiosity, while laying the foundation for Kindy and Pre-Primary. Through fun and engaging play-based activities, the programme develops literacy, numeracy, musicality and gross motor skills.

During a typical day your child could be building cubbies or creating mini beasts in our outdoor Bush School; learning how to sing, dance and compose with our specialist music teacher; and developing gross motor skills climbing, digging, playing and bike riding in our playground.

The programme runs every weekday from 8.30am to 3pm during term, with the option for early drop off at 7.40am and late pick up at 4pm. You decide how many days a week works best for your son or daughter.

We realise how important it is to invest in the early years of education so we have kept fees to $90 per day.

To register your interest and preferred day or days for 2018, please contact our Registrar, Di Moran on 9383 6809 or email
